Katy earned her GED during her freshman year of high school so she could devote more time to her music career. Her first album was released in 2001 under the name Katy Hudson. It was a gospel album and was unsuccessful, due to the record label closing. She also later recorded an album with production team The Matrix and nearly completed a solo album in 2004-2005. Neither of the later were ever released to the public, however.

She signed with Capitol Music Group in 2007 and adopted the name Katy Perry. Katy released an Internet single, "Ur So Gay," later that year. The song drew public attention, but did not reach the Billboard Top 100 charts. Her second single with Capitol, however, was a huge success. "I Kissed A Girl" (2008) went on to top international charts. And, well, we all know Katy is one of today's hottest young singers. She has a great voice - and - it certainly helps that she looks great topless, as seen here thanks to Esquire Magazine!!!

  1. Katy Perry is incredible. She looks great in black. Would love to see her fully topless. Maybe she'll do Playboy one day?
