A Remarkable Photograph Of The French Resistance Three members of the French resistance are shown here in this amazing 1944 photograph from World War 2. This photo, which depicts a woman clearly not part of any standard military group, was taken in the midst of battle against German troops.

I'm guessing this barnacle encrusted military tank has long been retired or else no one told the soldiers the war was over. I imagine either this tank was placed here to start a fish habitat or else it was dumped here after it outlived its usefulness. Anyone know the story on this underwater tank? Related [...]

I can only assume the words tattooed to this person's inner bottom lip, "Never Again," must refer to the fact that they will never again tattoo anything on their bottom lip. Yes, getting a tattoo on the inside of your bottom lips is gross and painful to most people, but when you add to this [...]

15 to 18 Foot Alligator Doesn't Phase Anyone I just don't get it. These people don't look the least bit alarmed to see this huge, 15'-18' dead alligator. Worse even, they look happy and excited to be posing beside it. I mean, c'mon, this thing was probably just killed in the very same waters where [...]

Today we feature a couple of retro photos showing fishermen with world record Giant Sea Bass catches. It's hard to imagine fish this big, but these are real, non-Photoshopped photos of world record size fish. The photo above shows John Perkins with his 428 lbs. catch in 1905. This second image of a world record [...]

I can only assume there is a convention that appeals to the geeks (of which I am one) across the street. Why else would a gaggle of storm troopers all be relieving themselves at the same time while a member of the sand people holds his nose in obvious contempt of the stinky situation. Imagine [...]
